A note from Puru

I'm Puru Gaur. I founded Legacy Lane Senior Navigation in 2026 because eldercare decisions are some of the hardest a family will ever make — and most families have to make them with almost no map.

By training, I hold an MPH and work in health policy and healthcare strategy at the director level. I spend my days thinking about how care systems, benefits, and costs actually work. That doesn't make me a doctor or a care provider — it makes me someone who can read the fine print with you and translate it into plain English.

My lane is simple: I sit on your side of the table. I help you compare home care, assisted living, and memory care honestly; I walk you through what Medicare and the VA cover and what they don't; and I give you the questions to ask providers before anyone signs anything.

What I'm not

I'll say it plainly, because it matters: I'm not a licensed clinician, not a medical provider, and this isn't medical advice. Legacy Lane provides educational consultation — guidance, checklists, and thinking-it-through-together. Decisions about a loved one's medical care belong with their physician, and legal or financial questions belong with qualified attorneys and advisors.

I also take no referral fees or commissions from facilities. Some "free" placement services earn thousands of dollars per placement from the communities they recommend. I don't play that game — you're my only client.
