Services

What we actually do

Four kinds of help, one rule: education before decisions. Every service below is guidance and preparation — not medical advice, not placement, not a care provider.

Care-Option Guidance

Home care vs. assisted living vs. memory care — what each includes, typical costs, how to tell which fits, and when staying home stops being the right call. Talk it through before touring a single community.

Medicare & VA Benefits Walkthroughs

What Medicare covers (and what it doesn't — long-term custodial care is generally not covered; verify at medicare.gov), plus VA benefits like Aid and Attendance for eligible veterans and surviving spouses (va.gov). We translate the rules into your situation.

Provider Vetting Checklists

Agencies, communities, memory care units — the questions that matter: staffing ratios, turnover, contracts, fee structures, discharge policies, red flags. Walk in prepared instead of hoping for the best.

Care Coordination Support

Ongoing check-ins as needs change — keeping family, caregivers, and providers aligned. For families already in a placement or care arrangement who want a clear-eyed second look, regularly.

Pricing

Honest pricing, quoted in writing before we start

Three options. Flat fees, never hourly billing anxiety — and every fee is confirmed in writing before we begin. Families pay us; facilities don't. That's the whole point.

Navigation Consult

$250

One 90-minute session, by phone or video.

  • Talk through the situation, start to finish
  • Home care vs. assisted living vs. memory care trade-offs
  • Benefits overview (Medicare, VA)
  • Provider questions to ask next

The low-commitment first step.

Quarterly Check-ins

$175

Per session — or $450 for three prepaid quarterly check-ins.

  • For families already in a care arrangement
  • Periodic reviews as needs change
  • Course corrections before small issues grow
  • Prepaid option: three check-ins, $450

Ongoing, low-lift peace of mind.

What we won't do with your money

No referral fees. No commissions from facilities. No steering you toward whoever pays best — because nobody pays us but you. Many "free" placement services earn the equivalent of a month's rent — sometimes thousands of dollars — from the community they place your loved one in. We don't play that game.

Free help, honestly pointed out

Sometimes you don't need us at all

Part of our job is telling you when free help exists. These resources cost families nothing:

SHIP Counselors

Free, unbiased Medicare counseling in every state — medicare.gov/ship or 1-877-839-2675.

VA-Accredited Representatives

Free help with VA benefit applications, including Aid and Attendance — through va.gov or a Veterans Service Organization.

We'll happily point you their way — or walk alongside you if you'd rather have paid, dedicated guidance. Your call.
