Legacy Lane Senior Navigation

FAQ

Questions families actually ask

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, ask us directly.

Are you a care provider? Do you provide medical advice?

No — and we say it on every page on purpose. Legacy Lane Senior Navigation is an informational and educational consultation: guidance, checklists, benefits walkthroughs, and thinking things through together. We are not a licensed care provider, not clinicians, and nothing here is medical advice. Medical decisions belong with your loved one's physician; legal and financial questions belong with qualified attorneys and advisors.

How much does it cost?

Three flat-fee options: a 90-minute Navigation Consult ($250), the Family Roadmap ($795 — three sessions plus a written Care Roadmap and 30 days of email follow-up), or Quarterly Check-ins ($175 per session, or $450 for three prepaid). Every fee is confirmed in writing before we start. Details on Services & Pricing.

Do you take commissions or referral fees from facilities?

No. Many "free" placement services earn the equivalent of a month's rent — sometimes thousands of dollars — from the community they place your loved one in. We're paid only by the family we serve, so our guidance is unconflicted. That's the core of our transparency promise.

Do you place my loved one in a facility?

No. We don't place, and we don't refer for a fee. We help you understand the options, vet providers with checklists and questions, and make the decision yourself — informed instead of rushed.

Where do sessions happen?

By phone or video, on your schedule — siblings can join from different cities. Everything is remote-friendly, including for long-distance caregivers.

What do I actually get from the Family Roadmap?

Three sessions: a needs assessment, an options walk-through with cost comparisons, and a benefits deep-dive with a decision plan. You keep a written Care Roadmap in plain English, plus 30 days of email follow-up while you act on it.

Can you help with Medicare or VA benefits?

We walk you through what the programs cover and don't — including VA Aid and Attendance for eligible veterans and surviving spouses — and help you understand how the rules apply to your situation. We don't file applications for you; for hands-on application help, free resources exist: SHIP counselors (1-877-839-2675) and VA-accredited representatives cost families nothing.

What about Medicaid?

We cover Medicaid basics as part of the benefits conversation — what it generally covers for long-term care and where to verify the rules for your state. For anything beyond basics, we'll point you to your state's Medicaid agency and, where needed, an elder-law attorney.

How quickly can we start?

Call or text (404) 620-1781 — a human replies within one business day. If you're working against a discharge date or another deadline, say so and we'll move as fast as we responsibly can.

You're a new business. Why should I trust you?

Fair question. Founded 2026 — we won't pretend to be anything older. What we offer is straightforward: an MPH and director-level health policy background, flat fees in writing, no facility commissions, and an explicit statement of what we're not. No invented clients, no fake reviews. Judge the transparency — it's the whole pitch.
